I did read and enjoy Garlic and Sapphires. I'd read her stuff before. . .I am amazed at the variety of odd foods a critic encounters, also rather taken by how much "into costume" she got with each disguise. Did anyone else remark about that? Does this say something "psychologically heavy"? Whatever, I enjoyed it.
By the way, did I mention the fun discussion on Ruth Reichl's Garlic & Sapphires? Covered a lot of ground, too many recipes, group had fun, book got **, more or less.
I laughed out loud with Garlic and Sapphires and hope that the group loves it, too.
