Thanks for a great meeting once again. Welcome back snowbirds and returning readers!
Most everyone had read The Great Gatsby at least once. Most were pretty excited about its stature and endurance as an American novel of aspiration, dreams, & love... and the ongoing futility of money buying happiness.
I think the link Pat referred to was the biographical one (10th)... and Maxwell Perkins was the editor I was trying to think of.
